Ivy Yew

Ivy brings to Health and Fitness extensive experience in physical education much of which is derived from her huge success as an international gymnast. She represented Hong Kong in 1982 at the Asian Games and the Commonwealth Games. She won the Hong Kong National Championship for Women's Gymnastics ten times before becoming a full time coach. She has been a coaching director for a major sports coaching company in Hong Kong and taught Physical education through the English School Foundation and other major international schools. Ivy's also has extensive martial arts expertise from her training with Professor Li Shixin of Beijing University. In 2001 she competed in the International Invitational Wushu Competition in Shanxi Province taking 1st place prize as a foreign competitor for her demonstration of the 24 steps of Tai Chi Chuan.

Ivy’s approach to training is a combination of outstanding athletic ability in performance and coaching and intuitive knowledge gained through years of experience in personal training. Her client lists includes the who’s who of Hong Kong.
